Common questions

How do I move my data to a new phone?

On the old phone, open Settings and tap Back up now. Save the file somewhere you can reach from the new phone, such as your email or a cloud drive. On the new phone, install Timesheep, open Settings, tap Restore from a Backup and pick the file. Restoring replaces everything on the new phone.

I paid on another phone. How do I get my subscription back?

Sign in to the same Apple or Google account, then tap Restore Purchases on the paywall or in Settings.

How do I cancel my subscription?

In Settings, tap Manage subscription, or open your App Store or Google Play subscriptions directly. Cancel at least 24 hours before the Trial ends or the next renewal. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google.

My Paycheck doesn’t match. What should I check?

Look at the Job’s Rate (and the date it changed), its Overtime rules, Shift Premiums, Rounding and Auto Break, and that every Work Session and paid Day Off is in the right Pay Period. Paychecks are compared with your gross pay, before tax and deductions. If it still differs, your employer’s payroll office can tell you how they counted.

Why is my Balance negative in the middle of the week?

The big number is your Balance through yesterday. The week’s Balance counts the whole week’s Target Hours, so it stays negative until the week’s last workday is worked.

Can I use Timesheep without an account?

Yes, there is no account at all. Your data stays on your phone, so keep a Backup. The app reminds you now and then.
